Come see our littlest barbeque enthusiasts show off their culinary skills at the Dodge City Days Little Smokies Kids-Q Competition brought to you by DODGE CITY MEDICAL CENTER! Thanks to our event sponsors Snake River Farms, Keller Leopold Insurance and Western Beverage, these Little Smokies will compete for bragging rights, CASH, and fabulous prizes! RULES

1. Teams can choose to participate in ground beef sliders, steak or both categories.
2. The entry fee for the competition is $25/category or $50 for both categories.
3. Teams can be made up of 3 kids with one adult supervisor (required).
4. Team members must be between the ages of 6 & 15 years old on the date of the contest.
5. Adult helpers must be 21 or older and have a picture ID available at the contest.
6. Judging will follow the KCBS rules based on appearance, tenderness and texture.
7. All preparation, cooking and presentation must be done by the kids. Adult supervisors may only do the lighting of the grill and any cutting or slicing deemed too dangerous for the cooks.
8. Adult supervisors must be present at all times until entries are turned in.

What will be provided for you:
Meat: ground beef for sliders and/or steak
Charcoal
Grill
Food service gloves

What contestants should provide:
Cooking utensils
Any and all garnishes (including buns, cheese, etc.), seasonings, marinades, secret ingredients, etc.

7PM – Hamburger Slider turn in
7:30PM – Steak turn in
8:15PM – KidsQ Awards Ceremony
